I love the idea of "dragon's" wings. It sounds so much more ferocious than something like "eagle's" wings. The rhythm and your few chosen rhymes are perfect. I enjoy the vivid image sparked.

I wasn't too sure about your use of "fly", "flight", and "fly" in just a few lines. However, I am surprised to find that I am not bothered by their usage even though it's all so close together. Even though it sounds strange to me for that repetition to work, I actually think it works quite well.

Wow, this is a deep impacting poem. That is dark and scary. Yet delightful sweet and thoughtful and kind. As the dragon is your saviour and friend. To a destructive world.
