Crash

Crash

A Poem by Wyrn Tiger

Tires Squeal like banshees in the night.

The wheels sing of song of death and fright.

Then pain picks up a knife and takes a stab at my back.

Flipping me in the  air like a flying flapjack.

Then after the car crash,

My world turned to ash.

Fate had beaten me battered.

My school days shattered.

With no friends behind me, I feel tost out to sea.

Close to giving  up hope?

Nope.

Heartfelt, raw and deeply meaningful. To be in an accident and then the trauma of it all. And to adjust to life after it. That takes courage and strength. Let alone to write a poem about how it affected you. Bravo. For speaking out. It also proves your stubborn, spirited and determined to get better after everything that has happened to you due to this terrible accident. Admiration to you.

A nice little poem.....

Quite a bit of defiance coming from this poem. Having to deal with an accident and the trauma that results from it and having the courage to never give up, never give in. A great attitude to have in all areas of life.

A simple poem, but one written nicely with some good rhymes. Keep writing.
