A soldiers medic lifeA Poem by Johee Poetry

lonely soldier finding his way
Learning new things to build his stay
Building knowledge in different ways
Like putting a tube down an airway
Even injecting his buddy gently
Its the only way to train him
laying down and studying to save lives
He feels the pressure about the exam, he sighs
He’s motivated to turn his life around
Nothing can put him down
Training from sunrise to sunset
Toughing it out as he sweats
He gives it his all until nothing is left
Getting smoked is what he hates
Taking care of his brothers is his job
Sad to see some gone
Because tests are hard
They can only get so far
But one thing I know is..
It takes a lot to be a medic
Procrastinating about each headache
In the end, they unite
This is the Medic soldiers life…. © 2011 Johee Poetry |
