We Fight

We Fight

A Poem by Johee Poetry

Lightness struck as the skies grew older

Gray clouds slowly vanishing

It feels like thunder is going after me

Rain pouring

Hitting the flesh like thin needles

I kneel down and look up high

Here I lie

Its just another fight

A fight against myself

Against tears

A new beginning is near

I'm lost

But soon I'll see clear

I keep dreaming of your battle

But should that matter?

We are fighting in different ways

You fight to get back to me

I fight to get used to be without you

There is no other you

So this here

We will get through
