Suffocating

Suffocating

A Poem by Johee Poetry

Madness taking over these tears

I'm hoping I can see clear

I'm suffocating

Still debating

If that time is getting near

I want to gouge my eyes out

My eyes are tired of being tired

I'm going in circles

Hesitant

Thoughts are so irrelevant

I try to close my eyes

My dreams are seeking vengeance

I try to wake up

It feels like hours but its really seconds

My body starts feeling heavy

I try to wake up

Bad energy trying to break me down

It wants to throw me on the ground

My hands are clenched

Palms sweaty

Breathing Heavily

Still suffocating

I want to scream out my sins

I try so hard to win

In the end

I am still suffocating to another thing
