Twirls and Circles

A Poem by Johee Poetry

So here we go again
~
you just say
~
That I need to keep my routine going
~
You just talk without knowing
~
You can see my worried glowing
~
My brain nerves are twirling
~
Because I can't be controlled
~
What is there to hold
~
I seek for comfort
~
Where can I go
~
And it is not that I am hurt
~
I just need some kind words.
~
A walk at the park brings more thoughts
~
I find ways to think of the unexpected
~
But nothing is flowing
~
I am going in circles trying to figure it out
~
What should I do to make this all work out
~
I am panicking because I need to stay money active
~
Work is what has to keep my mind right
~
Please lead me to some light
~
These gas prices are making me high
~
So high because I never imagined
~
Imagining that this would turn out to be
~
The one thing that really never worried me
~
Please take me back to what it used to be
~
Just a young girl singing in the middle of her room
~
That is something I loved to do
~
Twirls and circles
~
Here we go again
~
Does anyone have a hand to lend?
