Drip Street

Drip Street

A Poem by Johee Poetry

Dripping water starts running dry.

The moon hides from its audience.

Clouds start to fade away as it tries to escape from its shadow.

I'm sitting in the end of a sidewalk watching cars pass by.

I can hear each engine running.

I keep wondering about my destiny and the day that I will be challenged again.

I thought I got over from the over protection of my own self.

Now I notice I still don't trust nobody.

I try to believe  what comes out of mouths.

But it is a problem to believe these heads.

I feel the love in some parts and others I still fear.

Other than that, I'm glad I'm strong and still here.

sleep..sleep.

I close my eyes.

This is another realistic dream.
