Fallen Streets

Fallen Streets

Fallen Streets

Gray skies and sad , lonely trees

I look up as I bent down on my knees

How did we become so cold to the place that made us

The things that we don't appreciate dying slowly

Bridges falling everywhere and this I can't believe

Chemicals and gases are killing me

Roads cracking up in other countries and no one finds time to make it better

Colombians kidnapped and they want to be free but the guerrilla say never

I look down and grab some old dirt and look around

I don't see anybody and I hear no sounds

Birds escaped to another world I bet

We don't need a nuclear bomb because we are all set

Fallen streets

What are we doing to our future kids?

Fallen streets

I wonder how this planet is gonna end and turn out to be

This has to be known as I sit here and think

We can't let these enemies of ours win

Our town slowly fading to dust

Yea this is the American dream alright we cant even find time to eat our lunch

Working hard day and night to pay those never ending bills

So our life is just getting an education to learn better skills

Fallen streets

I see dead soldiers under those old sheets

Fallen streets

Wow the American dream is what I need
