Lost Child Tears

Lost Child Tears

A Poem by Johee Poetry

Young girl in the middle of nowhere

As confused as anyone can be

Lost in the world of hunger and fears

No one is near to comfort her

She is just trying to find her way out

But she can't figure it out

Around her are fallen leaves and a multitude of trees

She looks down at her small dirty shoes

Her favorite dress ripped by the broken branches

She just didn't have a clue

Wondering if her parents are searching for her

She sits on a medium size rock and sobs

Lost child tears

Cutie pie with full of fear

Tired of finding her way back

She ran too far as she was playing hide and seek

Now its been a week

Her young sweet face in every t.v screen now

Little girl resting as she looks up on a cloud

She starts praying to her god to get her out of this now
