I keep remembering

I keep remembering his face

I wonder if he's doing OK

He told me hes happy with another girl

I told him I was too but I wasn't sure

Its hard now because I cant deny it

I broke up with him even though I loved him

Now I compare him to the other guys

Nothing mattered , not the money, and not even the ride

But the only thing that mattered was he was too far away

It hurt me when he told me he couldn't stay

Ill never forget that night I cried like I never cried before

Ever since that, I promised myself never to cry anymore

One thing I know is he taught me how to love

He probably wont ever know this but I was in love

I didn't want to get myself so emotionally involved

The feeling of missing was just to painful

All that time waiting was a handful

But I'm so grateful for meeting a great guy

I know one day he will find a great girl and make him his wife

He was perfect to me and he taught me something new about myself

I learned it was OK to cry and I enjoyed that feeling of being loved
