Hes trying to come back to me again

He now wants to be my friend

7 months now since I last saw him

I should've known what I was gonna get myself  in

It all began trying to give him a chance

That chance turned back at me so fast

I got caught up with his love

I made the first move and it was great

Under the trees and nothing was said

I wonder what made him come back

I guess hes lonely and looking for me

But nope I have pride and hes something I don't need

I'm so relaxed being single I don't need a man

The drama, the jealousy, the trap nope that's not my plan

I'm all about my money and my job is a hustle

I'm trying to save to make my own poetry book

Its something I'm dreaming on so have a good look

I still love my ex and its something I have to admit

I just cant move on and act like it was it

I did pretend like it was fine

But damn I still miss him and I'm not lying

Its hard to say goodbye

I'm just taking it as each day passes by I'm not trying to cry

So here is another thought in my mind

I have to let it all go and leave it all behind
