Ying-Yang

Ying-Yang

A Poem by Johee Poetry

They say love is pain…

I say that love is evil

Because you give your all to the people that turn their back on you

So you end up learning things the hard way

What more can I do or say to make you understand?

That I am trying.

Here I am trying to figure out why you act this way

And I just keep hoping for you to change.

You care about the wrong things and leave me in a dark corner.

You are a coward.

You turn family members into your messengers.

I wish you had the balls to tell me how you feel.

You live in a life where you act like feelings don’t exist.

Your happy spirit has gone for many years now.

You need to be lifted.

There are no other words to explain how much I love you and my heart is always fighting with my mind.

Because I always tell myself that I’m giving up on trying to make things work between us but the arteries in my heart will always keep pumping.

So there is no winning.

I want you to care for me that I want to but we are like ying and yang.

We are just two humans destined to take different paths.

I just hope that one day we can understand our differences and one day talk about all of this and laugh.

But I just hope that you know that I will still be there..

You just need to realize that I am the only sister that you will ever have.
