Hmm.. kinda dark haha

These feelings I am feeling are not my own

Devil meets Devil when I'm all alone

Fire, fire destroy this home

 

Burn these words, and burn these thoughts

Kill these maniacally deranged plots

I've been possessed, my soul's been caught

 

Fire, fire take away these sins

Wickedly persuasive, the Devil's grin

Drags me back to Hell again

 

Still alive yet somehow dead

Killing my soul with endless dread

Get these demons out of my head

I don't think it's uncommon to feel overwhelmed sometimes by your own weaknesses and bitterness. We all have that endless pit inside us that spits fire. That sounded better in my head. Oh well, that was my interpretation of this :] Quite a good poem!
