My Everything

short poem, I jumped out of bed to write it :P. Hope you enjoy it/can relate to it. please review haha

Music is my everything

the way it soothes my soul

Sounds rippling through the once still room

and catches like fire on coal

 

Music in my head, my thoughts

it sends my soul adrift

My breaking heart is healed again

and I feel that exhilarating shift

 

I watch in a dizzied daze

the notes cascade around me

And the contents of my teeming mind, spill out

Music is my key
