A Reason

A Reason

A Poem by Joe Morris
"

The poem i wrote for my first love.

"

The meaning of my existence was unclear,

this much is true.

Until I found a reason to live, and that reason;

is you.

I have seen views that would take a man's breath,

yet not mine.

You are the most beautiful thing I've seen,

and will be for the rest of time.

Even if I wanted to forget you,

I couldn't you see.

As you've now replaced where my empty heart,

used to beat.

Thankyou my love who now is to me a nessecity,

much like each of the seasons.

For giving my life point to go on,

for giving me a reason.

You said be brutal...so I must be honest with you, I completely agree with T.R.P. This is beautiful and the lady that inspired this is truly lucky. To have something this wonderful written about you, sigh. I hope you’ve showed it to her! Incredible, absolutely incredible.

Thankyou ever so much!
If that wasn't a clear, well written expression of love, I don't know what is! excellent write!
