The cookie girlA Poem by Joe MorrisAn incredibly attractive looking girl served me whilst i was buying cookies and to my regret i bottled it and never got her name or number :(It started with an order of a box of cookies, Milk chocolate, dark and white. I handed over a £10 note, And saw the cookie girl's eyes glistening in the sunlight.
Our smiles mirrored one anothers, She looked away and giggled; now mute. Some would've thought it rude, Yet I saw it as cute.
Our eyes did meet again but for a minute, Yet that was long enough to make me see; You were a girl i could have lived for, Yet it was not meant to be.
