The Wise Man's Way

The Wise Man's Way

A Poem by Joel Moore

a wise man speaks
with actions loud
and words soft

a wise man accepts
when he is wrong
criticism when well placed
but never words unquestioned

a wise man sees
beauty in even the simplest of things
simplicity in the most complex
unity amongst difference
and elegance in the everyday

a wise man knows
to speak when needed but never too much
to ask well and answer rightly
when a hand should be held out,
when a fist should be raised
to show off, is a fool's glory

thus, is the wise man's way

Good job man, we should all try to be more like this. Reminds me of a quote of Charles Bukowski:"“Genius might be the ability to say a profound thing in a simple way.”
