dead to you

dead to you

A Poem by incarnated deception
"

truthfully on my latest break up

"
i lurked there in the darkness
you shone ther my light
you burnt me you hurt me
the creature of the night
onside im scarred
crying out for help
but like an unjured dog being crushed to death
im forced to nothing more but yelp
i cry at night as i long for you
i wish the pain would stop
but the end draws closer with
every vicoden pill i pop
i wish that it could kill me
i wish that death woul come
but the curtains wont draw on my puppet show
until this vampires will run
you were the girl that bit me
you were the girl i would hold
close but now that girl is gone
im left with nothing more than your ghost

I like the way you compared your ex to a vampire this is a really good write. The tone and flow of the poem was excellent.I also enjoyed the strong imagery you used it really brought this piece to life. From start to finish you captured a very sad but beautiful write, well done.

I think this a really good poem. There may have been some spelling errors, if I'm not mistaken. That's not really a big thing to me, but for some people if they're stuck trying to understand the words because of spelling errors, they may not get the full effect of the poem. The lines are beautifully written, and as I said, I really do like this poem. Keep writing, you are obviously very talented.
