Can't Leg Go

Can't Leg Go

A Poem by Thomas Sawyer
"

My first poem in a long time

"
It's nothing, i can stop when i want,
Can I? I'm not sure anymore,
It's nice, I enjoy it, why do i have to stop?
It's just a habbit i have, nothing more.

My hands shaking, my lips quivering, but i know i'm fine.
You can say all you want, you know the life is mine.
I don't steal, i don't cheat, why do you bother me?
It just makes me feel great, it's too good to kill.

My girl, my boss, my mom, they all  yell at me,
They think i'm crazy but they don't know what i see,
The world is much clearer when they think i'm high,
I'm not worse than them, we're all trying to survive.

Well i didn't yesterday, what, if i do today,
Without my best friend, everything's not the  same,
Maybe i can't stop and I'm just an addict,
Yeah, ain't we all? My life is less than tragic.

Right?
