The Monster Inside

The Monster Inside

A Poem by A Foiled Soul
"

We all have one.

"
Monsters don't sleep under my bed,
Monsters are the ones that sleep inside my head,
Monsters are real and ghosts are too,
Sometimes they just simply break through,
They take control,
Terrible things are done,
But you are alone,
Nobody to hold,
This world is so cold,
But there is always a girl,
That quiets your demons,
That one pretty face,
She returns the feeling,
One day you realize,
She never existed,
Neither did you,
This world is twisted,

I honestly do t care if you don't like. If you do leave a review. I'd not... why are you even here. There is a story woven just into this poem that only the philosophical mind can see.

The world is messed up and cruel I am 15 and I learned this lesson many times each worse than before. The worst part of it all is knowing that you have to accept life for what it is. I thought the piece was awesome :}

I thought this was brilliant. You're right. The world is twisted. :)
