The adventure of Noah's raven

High in the sky was the mid-day sun.
On a pleasant day, presumably in the month of May.
When I in high Spirits raised my agile wings
for a mission to accomplish.

It was an adventure to dare across
a World once cruel-saturated, but now
desolated. For my lord Noah sought to know
how dry the once sinister covered plains were.

In graceful flight, I flew across
a global ocean once covered by
the residues of Eden, to yonder destinations unknown,
in search of a supposedly abandoned golden fleece.

All around a World with neither form nor void,
I sought tirelessly for spoils.
Perhaps beyond my reach in the very depths,
lay this in-exhaustible booty in the care of Fish.
