THE TWIN NIGHTMARE

Wow! What a nightmare! I’m just glad that’s over with Puppy yawned as she sat up on her bed and started to stretch but stopped mid-way and looked around the room

Whoa! Where am I? This isn’t my room okay Puppy don’t panic there has to be a reasonable explanation why you just woke up in a totally strange room right? She mumbled to herself as she slowly got out of the bed and stumbled around the room until she found a light switch

Oh great! It doesn’t work! She took out a small flashlight key chain from her pocket and clicked it on

Oh wow! This place looks like it hasn’t been lived in for a million years I may not remember how I got here. But one thing for sure I’m getting out of here right now this is to weird

Puppy slowly made her way out of the room and into a long hallway she was nearly down the hall when a voice cried out

Puppy is that you? What are you doing here?

Daisy? I was about to ask you the same thing she frowned

I don’t know I can’t remember I’ve no clue on how I got here do you? Her friend Daisy Penguin asked

No all I remember is working on my writing assignment before going to bed. Then having this crazy nightmare about fighting someone inside this wheel that looked like

A big ball of fire Daisy finished for her

Yah but how did you know? Puppy asked

I know this is going to sound totally crazy but I think that we had the same dream or nightmare Daisy explained

What? That’s nuts! How can we both have the same nightmare? Puppy frowned

Shh Daisy interrupted did you just hear that?

No what was it? Puppy asked

It sounded like someone walking down stairs or moving stuff around Daisy answered

Who?

Puppy how do I know? I don’t know how or why we’re even here! Daisy frowned

Maybe we were in accident or something and hit our heads that’s why we can’t remember any thing. And our parents are down stairs looking for us Puppy shrugged

I highly doubt it Puppy but stranger things have happened come on let’s go and find out

As soon as they reached the ground floor two bull dogs dressed in black suits wearing black sunglasses ran inside the room

Well, well there you two are we’ve been looking all over the place for you one of the bull dogs smirked. He then grabbed Puppy by her collar and without thinking she gave him a chop in his throat and flipped him over her shoulder. The other bull dog seeing that his partner was in trouble went over to help him. But Puppy saw him and knocked their heads together knocking them both to the ground

Oh wow! Who taught you how to do that? Daisy asked in awe tone of voice I’d have never figured you to be a karate master

Trust me no one is more surprise as I’m come on let’s get out of here before they wake up. I’m not sure if or how I can do that again Puppy answered

Hey I’ve an idea why don’t we tie them up and when they wake up we can asked them what’s going on Daisy suggested

A few minutes later one of the bull dogs snapped his eyes open and started to struggle with the rope

Untie us right now! He growled

Not until you tell us what’s going on Daisy asked why and how did we get here?

Oh wow! That machine must have messed with their memories one of the dogs answered

What machine? We don’t know what you’re talking about and why would anyone want to erase our memories Puppy frowned what do you want from us?

The bull dog just ignored Puppy’s question and yelled

Let’s us go! If you don’t return with us back to the lab and get medical attention you could suffer some serious brain damage the bull dog explained

We don’t believe you! Daisy cried out

Hey look what I found while I went through their pockets it’s a some sort of map Puppy said. She opened it up and asked

What’s kids secret spy house? And why does that sound so familiar to me

Well if you too are so smart why don’t you tell us why tell us what it is? One of the bull dogs smirked

We’ll as soon as we come back see you losers later! Puppy laughed as she and Daisy walked out the front door

Once they got outside Daisy looked up to the sky and said

Okay the sun sets in the east and by the look of this map this place is somewhere around that direction. We just have to follow the sun and hopefully it’ll lead us to it

Whoa! How did you know that? Puppy asked

I don’t know it popped into my head I guess Vicky isn’t the only smart one in our group! Daisy laughed

A few more minutes later they came across a high wired fence that stretched in both directions and at the bottom of it was a big sign that read:

TOP SECRET BASE

ENTER AT YOUR OWN RISK!

Umm I don’t know about you but I don’t think that they are just going to let us walk in there Puppy told Daisy. They walked for a few more minutes when a guard standing by the front gate growled

What are you kids doing out here?

Umm well sir we really don’t know how or why we are we can’t remember

You kids do know this isn’t a playground in where you can just walk around in the guard interrupted now if you don’t mind I’ve more important things to do then to listen to any more of your kiddie’s stories

But we’re not making up any kiddy stories we really can’t remember! Daisy cried out

The guard was about to answer her when a chicken wearing a doctor’s coat walked over towards them and said in a happy tone of voice

Welcome back! How was your trip? I can’t wait to hear all about it

Huh? Umm I’m sorry but do we know you? We really don’t what you’re talking about Puppy answered

Yah we don’t mean to sound rude are anything but what’s this place and what does it have to do with us? Daisy added

Oh my! You mean you really don’t remember anything the chicken asked

No we just woke up inside some creepy house and then these two big goons tried to grab us. And I guess they helped us find this place but we’ve no clue of what’s going on and what’s this place Puppy shrugged

Oh dear you better come with me it sounds like you’re suffering from some serious side effect the chicken answered

On the way back to her lab she explained that they’ve been assigned to be secret agent enrolled in the young spy program for the past two years. Last year we started working on a new machine that can transport anything or anyone through time travel in less than a few seconds. But there are still some bugs in it that we were working out I guess memory loss will be added to that list the chicken smiled

Oh great! So what you’re saying we’re never going to get our memories back? Puppy asked

Well hopefully your memories are still locked away inside the machine computer chip. So you and Daisy will just have to go back inside of it and redo what you did before she answered

No way! I’ve had enough for one day memory or no memory I just want to go home and forget that this whole night mare ever happened! Daisy cried out

But that’s the only way for you kids to get back them back and who knows maybe it wasn’t a cliché in the system. Maybe it was just a simple accident and can be easily fixed but we’ll never know unless you go back inside the chicken stated

But what if it wasn’t an accident? Puppy asked what if some just made it look like it was an accident because they didn’t want the mission to be completed. She then started to inspect the machine carefully

Hey check it out! A bunch of wires have been ripped out and some of these color chips have been missed place with the wrong color Puppy cried out don’t you think that we should try and see if we can get any finger prints from it

Puppy turned around and saw that the chicken was pointing some sort of weird deceive at them

You two just couldn’t stay away I had it all worked out you were supposed to be lost inside the machine. And after the mission would be viewed as a complete failure I’d be able to sell it to the highest bidder! The chicken smirked

So it was you? You were the one who stole our memories and sent those goons after us! Daisy yelled

That’s right and this time I’m going to make sure that there won’t be any more mistakes. This time you kids will never be seen nor heard from ever again I personally granted it now if you two don’t mind stepping on to the plat form so we can begin the chicken added. And before the chicken could make sense of the sudden confusion both Puppy and Daisy were attacking her

Puppy knocked the deceive that she was holding out of her hands and when the chicken went to grab it off the floor. Daisy then pushed the biggest button she could find

A second later bright lights began flashing and ringing drowning out the chicken’s horrified screams as she disappear into thin air

A few minutes later the room was full of strange dogs dressed in army uniforms

Whoa! Where did you guys come from? Daisy asked

Don’t you remember you guys pulled the emergency help button one of the dogs answered

Oh wow! No but I’m so glad that you guys are here all I remember was waking up in some

A loud noise startled Puppy awake that she almost fell off her bed

Whoa! Now that was just to weird there’s no way that was just a dream! I can’t wait to tell Daisy all about it tomorrow. She was about to get out of bed to go get a glass of water from her bathroom. When her cell phone rang
