Tommy should've listened to his Uncle Joe and stayed out of the back room

THE WIZARD GAME

It was a Saturday afternoon and the gang. Was having lunch inside the Rocky Shores mall food court

So Tommy how’s it going in your new job? Puppy asked her friend Tommy Cub

What new job? The only reason I’m stuck there is because my mom doesn’t want me to stay home. While she’s at work playing video games she says it will rot my brain. So she asked my dumb uncle if I could work for him in his store. But my uncle’s such an old grouch that he doesn’t let me touch anything. All I do there is just sit and be bored all day Tommy sighed

Oh wow! Puppy answered

And speaking about the old grouch I better get back. Before he has a cow that I took so long for lunch and call my mom. And tells her that I’ve been goofing all day later guys he added before he got up from the table and left

When Tommy returned to his uncle fix it store. He found a note typed to the cash drawer

Tommy had to go out for a few hours just keep an eye on the place. And take any phone messages be back soon remember don’t touch anything. And stay out of the back room

Uncle Joe

Yah, yah great stay out of the blah, blah Tommy mocked as he crumbled up the note and threw it away. Then started playing with his game video player but after playing with it for a few minutes. He grew bored with it

Now what I’m going to do until the old grump gets back? He was wondering to himself. When Puppy walked into the store

Hey

Hey what are you doing here? Tommy asked

My mom asked me to check if your uncle had fixed my music box yet? She answered

Oh umm let me

Check in the back I’ll be back in a second

Puppy waited fifteen minutes before she called out

Hey Tommy did you die back there!

No but you won’t believe what I did find! Tommy answered her

My music box? Puppy shrugged

Umm no but this old pinball machine it looks really old. And that it hasn’t been touched in years but hopefully it’ll work when I plug it in Tommy told her

Maybe but what about my music box? Puppy asked

Oh umm I couldn’t find it but I’ll ask my uncle about it. When he gets back

Okay thanks just call me when you find it later Puppy smiled then walked out

As soon as Puppy left Tommy went back to playing with his video game. And after a few hours he finally beat the game and was surprised that his uncle wasn’t back yet

I wonder what’s taking him so long to get back. He was thinking to himself. When he noticed that the mall looked empty. He popped his head out the front door then it hit him

Oh crap! Don’t tell me that I’m locked in here!

Tommy ran downstairs and towards the front door to the mall and tried opening them

Oh great! Now what am I going to do now? I know I’ll call Puppy

He quickly dug into his pocket for his cell

Oh terrific! I forgot my cell back at the store!

Tommy ran to a pay phone he was about to put a coin into the slot. When someone called out his name

Tommy quick grab the key and open the first ground locker!

Tommy turned around and saw that Puppy was being dragged away by a big ugly looking warlock

Puppy? Hey you big bully! You leave her alone! He yelled

Don’t worry about him he can’t hurt me. Just grab the key! She yelled back before she and the warlock disappeared through the double doors. Confused by the whole thing Tommy quickly picked up the key that Puppy threw at him. Then ran over towards the locker section of

the mall and opened. The one she told him to inside was a small golden terra

This is so weird

Tommy went back to his uncle’s store and was about to call Puppy. When he noticed that he had no battery

Terrific

He was about to pick up the store phone when he heard some strange muffling sounds coming out of the back room. It was Puppy tied up to a chair

Puppy? What’s going on? How did you get in here and who did this to you. It wasn’t that ugly dude I saw earlier was it? He cried

There’s no time to explain did you get the terra? She asked once he untied her

Yah but�"

Great Puppy interrupted now all we’ve to find is my music box. Then after you crown me the game will be over

Wait what? This is all a what? A game? But how can it be? Tommy nervously asked. Puppy was about to answer him when

a big ball of black smoke filled the room. And when it cleared Puppy and the smoke were gone

Holy crap Puppy! Where did you disappear to! He yelled out. But the only answer he got back was the sound of the warlock evil laughing. And Puppy yelling for him to find the music box before it was too late

Tommy spent a few minutes searching for Puppy’s music box. When he finally found it hidden behind some other boxes on the top shelve

There now all I’ve to do is find Puppy again. And oh wait! I’ve played this game before I don’t know how Puppy got inside my uncle’s pinball game. But I’m going to sure find out all I’ve to do is crown her while she’s playing her music box and I’ll beat the game. And how I get rid of that ugly warlock I just have to spray him with water

Tommy quickly put the terra and music box into his book bag

I knew that you’d come in handy one day he smiled as he filled his favorite water gun up with water. Then put it in his back pocket

Now all I’ve to do now is find Puppy and I know exactly where to start looking. I bet that creep is keeping her locked up at the Stone Place on the third floor. That’s the only store in the mall that looks like a castle

A few minutes later Tommy peeked his head through the store window. And saw that Puppy was being held by the warlock and his goons. Tommy pulled out his water gun from his back pocket, opened the door and yelled

Hey you jerks look like you’re thirsty. How about a nice drink of cold water!

The warlock and his goons looked surprised to see Tommy standing there. Pointing a gun in their faces. And before any of them could react he pulled the trigger hitting them right in the faces. Seconds later there was nothing left of them expect for puddles of water

Tommy ran over to Puppy and asked if she was okay

Yah thanks Tommy you’re my hero! She smiled will you please do the honors

Oh yah sure Tommy opened his bag and took out the music box and terra

Here you go he smiled and before he could place the terra on her head. There was a bright flash of light and he found himself. Standing by the mall’s front doors in where he started

Hey I just bet you! What am I doing back here again? He cried out

Sorry Tommy but I told you to stay out of the back room. I hope that you liked playing with my pinball machine. Cause you’re going to be playing it forever! His uncle laughed

Tommy, Tommy wake up you’re having a nightmare a gently voice cried out

Huh? Mom?

Yes dear? Wow! That must’ve been some dream you’re calling out for someone to save you. That you were trap inside the mall she started to explain

That’s not even the half of it Tommy whined wow I can’t believe that it was just a dream. So I guess I never did save Puppy from the evil warlock

Evil warlock? Oh my I’m sure Puppy will get a kick hearing about that. But you better hurry up and get

dressed you don’t want to be late on your first day his mother answered

Aww mom do I really have to go to Uncle Joe’s store today? Tommy groaned

Uncle Joe’s store? Honey Uncle Joe closed his store last year when he retired don’t you remember? His mother frowned

Oh I guess I’m still a little foggy about the dream. But still can’t I just stay home today I really don’t feel like going anywhere Tommy answered

That’s fine dear but I thought you were super excited about going with Sammy to video game camp? His mother smiled

Oh yah! I was I mean I’m but umm mom I was thinking is it too late. To sign up for something else besides video game camp? Tommy shrugged
