fake fairytale

fake fairytale

A Poem by josephine dinnair
"

sometimes the dream you want is a nightmare

"
perfect flaws hidden by corrupted alterations
unleash such carefully shielded words as;
ogres wear masks of smiles, the devil a cravat
reflections in rain drops with disjointed spectrum
moon beams and neon dance off drunken tarmac
internal howling storm screams, to loud to be heard
mental stumble like a shipwreck from port to port
screwed up like newspaper, creases cannot be smoothed
restring the bow, orchestra departed , a one man band
silenced the tongue that bleeds, seeps out one lie
strength - barely a weakness with mirrored margin of error
self regard drained into the gutter drip by drip
escape to die, stand bold across the archway, no entry sign
go back to portrayal on silverscreen. word now gospel
undeterred the tred wears thin, final straw upon straw breaks back.

now how could that happen?...actually that is what many are going through right now...their own dreamy nightmarish dream...
