flight

flight

A Poem by josephine dinnair
"

desperate

"
now i run away from you
safe, for how long? dont follow me
through trees , it dark ,so tired i crawl
not beaten yet , dare'nt stop til dawn

your pack will hunt me down
a prescence behind is chasing me
wolves suddenly all around
they pin me to the ground

heavy breath into my ear
your voice is all i hear

the power of your controlling mind
they do your will, you refuse mine
set me free, im no use to you
you wont win ,im used,  rung dry

piercing eyes ,, i cant breathe
fangs sink in, tear flesh from me
slobbering, scratching ,mauling
i beg and weep and bleed

no escape from you here
as i die i have no fear

now i win,  i haunt you

it is harder to feel what i am trying to put across if you cannot hear the music the words are intended for .

this desperation to escape is so emotional that it becomes the haunting of one to another who has but caused one to feel that death of variety...

nice work...
