roseate

roseate

A Poem by josephine dinnair
"

a mentor of mine

"

calm, considered, silent

still you sit to humour your elder

your tutor albeit your inferior

yet with grace speak chosen words

female masks hide perfection

eyelashes flutter a concerto

face lit by shadows of young death

empty years have passed

no delectation to be found

only pulsating walls

visions of lost sentiments

heart still in stasis

another lover relinquished

new suitor to be your muse and saviour

irony to refresh the monotony of creation

suffering no relief from its completion

unfullfilled until a new refrain begins

Nice work...your expressions are displayed with invisibility of thought and yet they are exposed within a moments view...

nice...
