stench of lavender

stench of lavender

A Poem by josephine dinnair
"

home town

"

lavender fields and orchards

cottages and high brow

stunted girls minds on hill

mowed down to seventies grey

blown up to bogus red

shuttered turrets of the dogmatist

still the semblance the same

with the stench of lavender

from copper cast reeks.....

The view of your hometown has one assuming that there is a refection that you have instilled within your memory that repeats within your mind...
