glitch

glitch

A Poem by josephine dinnair
"

settled order of nature

"
the morning is crisp and bright
as we watch together happiness destroying its self
gruesome, cruel and raw
it almost looks like dancing, claws entangled
intense , unbounded, frightening
what disturbed the order of nature
to see perfection loose all control and reason
what sign to man is this?
is it a glitch, an error , genetic deformity?
indeed it is through young eyes
but through mine a pure cold terror ensues
now i long for another morning...

I'm really enjoying the images floating through my mind while I read this. Those first two lines are incredible and the juxtaposition of perfection and destruction is spectacular.

Your work is rather good. I hope you continue to post some more for our pleasure.

beautiful work...what I did not get Joanna was the source of the terror, and this is your way of leaving it open so the reader can come to his.her own conclusions. Thanks for this piece

This is really neat. Like, I really mean that. I'm not just saying that. I LOVE this poem. You just have a few grammar errors that need to be fixed.
