I Love You

I Love You

A Poem by Christina Jones
"

This is a poem I wrote when I was about 16 years old.

"
These tears keep swelling up in my eyes
They're blurring my vision
This pain is clouding my heart
It feels like a head on collision

I'm scared of what to do
I'm afraid of losing you
You are my everything
Without you I can't do anything

I hope we last forever
Hurt you? I would never
We haven't been together long
Yet my love for you is strong

It's becoming harder to breathe
My breaths are becoming short
I guess the balls in my hands
But I'm too scared to dribble it down the court

My mouth is trembling
My words are stuttering
I can really feel it
My heart is fluttering

I don't know if I can say it
I open my mouth to
All I'm trying to say is
Baby I love you
