heaven

heaven

A Poem by Jeff Loquist
"

...

"
"What is heaven, anyway?"

and her head falls
                 backwards
as the swing falls
                 farther
and the world falls

                 away

this is a moment, a glimpse of what heaven may be.
Just perfect.
Thank you for the write, and for Emily's thoughtful gesture in showing me where it is.

beautiful....it's such a liberating image...I remember that dizzy feeling on the swing...sheer happiness...found in being...heaven being that moment..I love this

I was guided here by Emily's thoughtful hand~ for she knew how this would catch my breath and catch me in this frame of emotive~sensate beauty~

it is hard to believe that no one has wandered in to read a poem as lovely as this one . . . I guess it's up to me to visit often so the heaven-like words don't get lonely

I'll be around, in and out, often
