Consumerism seems to take over all things in the end...just looking at Valentine's Day it's obvious that there is no symblance of the original thought behind the day. Still, chocolate is one of my favorite vices...lol Nicely written!

Okay, so I never say no to chocolates (or fudge) but to me they would taste so much better home-made, you know? I was bought a heart shaped box of chocolates once. I had ALWAYS craved a heart shaped box of chocolates like you saw in all the Audrey Hepburn movies. I was disappointed to realise that they were just... chocolates. Money is an easy excuse. Your three lines set me reminiscing, haha. I'm wittering... I'll shut up. :)

Happy Valentine's Day. We can notice the consumerism, the price of cards and flowers or we can do something to counteract it . . . I'll have to think about that for next year.
