Cancer can destroy your organs,
but not your smile.
it can break hearts,
But not your strength.
it is known to cause depressions,
but it seems you didn’t know that.

You’ve made something so terrible and destructive
seem like a quality and an asset.

Perhaps it is how you wear it that makes it so attractive,
like it never happened, or should i say it transformed you
into something else, You became more beautiful that you already were.

I believe in calling things beautiful
as they deserve to know what they really are.
what if flowers decided they weren’t good enough
and just stopped growing.

But the thing i’m more thankful for cancer
aside from making you who you are,
is that it didn’t take you,
Because if it did, then i wouldn’t
be seeing the most beautiful flower in my garden.

hmmm nice and quite creative. you used a real life topic in a very imaginative. although just to give you a frank review a little improvement could be made in comparison and plotline of poem. allover it is really good and you should continue writing poems like this.
