I want to return to the chaosA Poem by SadLarrysoftcore nostalgia new age wave street beatI want to return
to the chaos I want limp
bodies on couches And darkened
basements And not really
knowing where we’ve been Just yet. And not
much has changed In my life, at
least. Which I’ve been told is showing Just the removal
of these certain stories There was a
banter, once And yet there
still in, in a sense Somewhere at
before broken bannisters I want to return
to the chaos I want to return
to my roots But I can’t shake
the feel of that sun
And the banter
was better in black Basements or
fires or warmth or beds Back before we
knew what they had Befouled and foul
and blasted and furious And I lost you
there Because my
dialogue is catered to them No longer you,
either or Getting any side
glances no insides Not yet, but also
not anymore But optimistically
soon to come, somewhere And I lost you
there And I want us to
return to the chaos © 2016 SadLarryAuthor's Note
