Curtain Call

Curtain Call

A Poem by J. L.

how i miss those city lights
the magic of the night
the wonder of the Eye
that heart racing mind boggling ride

those breakfasts with my closest friends
hoping the week would never end
singing places no one could imagine
feeling love, happiness, passion

the place where all my dreams seemed real
the sacredness of St. Pauls, i still feel.
to this moment i am honestly touched
about all the fun shared among us

and of course we all want to go back
to be rid of the reality attacks
to sink into those comfy beds
pull all-nighters to only feel “dead”

but everything was so very worth it
and there is nothing i will ever forget
there may be grudges, maybe some regrets
our London dream will never see rest

it will follow us wherever we go
and in our hearts it will always glow
as the place we all love and know
London.
End of Show.
