The baselineA Poem by Joshua Lobdellthis is meI speak my mind, even though I'm not always right I like my coffee regular, and often late at night The love of a good woman I certainly need Sometimes I get too caught up in my greed Pour a little Jack and Coke in my cup I live life out loud, with the volume turned way up I like to write, and drink, and smoke Silver Tongued, I'll be the first to drop a joke Some of my words make people think that I'm unkind Writing in my journal with a pen, and then online I indulge in things that are bad for me But they fuel my art, can't you see I have a weakness for drinks and girls Not impressed by shiny things, or pearls I'm a dork, a geek, sit here at my computer But you wouldn't like me any other way now would ya? © 2014 Joshua LobdellReviews
