Candlelight

Candlelight

A Poem by Joshua Lobdell
"

I wrote this piece after getting out of the hospital and rehab. My life was kind of a mess and I was looking at the choices I had made and what lessons could be learned from them.

"
By candlelight
I still write
To ease my mind
Stuck on rewind
See events in my head
The trips I still dread
Back in my past
Try to run away fast
Need to get away
No longer want to play
Every day and every night
right here by candlelight

This was both concise and introspective considering your introduction and reflective of where you were...good job.
