In The Middle (a poem)A Poem by Joshua Donahuea poem about being centered and being the middle of Earth's beauty
In The Middle (a poem)
I am standing here Beside a lonesome tree In the middle of a beautiful
scene The ground is rich in nutrients,
nourished by a perfect tone of green grass Fields of it reaching out
miles upon end An eagle flies overhead,
letting loose a beautiful cacophony In the baby blue sky with wispy,
white clouds hovering, making shapes of all sorts The sun shines brightly,
lighting everything up Feeding it rich light and
sprouting wonderful scenes I can feel the wind brush
against my skin, painting it with coolness It visibly breezes against
the tree as well, giving him a little shudder Together we are in the
middle In the middle of all great
things that Mother Earth has to offer Resting in her love and
care Right here In the middle © 2011 Joshua DonahueAuthor's Note
