Yes.

Yes.

A Poem by Jake Kokoris

The vase shatters

and what’s left is immutable

like staring at a clawed up bird

there isn’t much left to say

Truth is a noble empty

concealing a question

austere and brave

for the few

to chase

in their idle days spent loving and living

But a shattered vase

asks nothing

answers  less

and leaves a hole

where the questions

once swam

vibrant

noisy

alive.
