Southbound Train

Southbound Train

A Poem by Jessie Knight

We fly through life on a southbound train,
Watching things leave we'll never see again.

But we push through,
We hold our heads high.

Question the truth,
And forget not to lie.

Never Give Up

excellent metaphor. there is truth in these words. one must not look back, however. everyone lies. we live in a world full of lies, but sometimes we need the lie because the truth hurts. excellent poem.
