Poor Ol' Little Johnny

Poor Ol' Little Johnny

A Poem by York Callow
"

This is poem about a poor boy named Johnny. Hope you enjoy!

"

Poor ol’ little Johnny at the age of fifteen,

Had so much life ahead of him, he had so many dreams.

But then someone came in his life and took them all away,

So poor ol’ little Johnny said he’d “make that f****r pay.”

So Johnny walked about the world carrying so much shame,

And all the hope he once possessed was buried in his pain.

Then poor ol’ Johnny moved away and tried to start his life,

But he could never have peace, for he was haunted by his strife.

So many people ridiculed and mocked him while he lived,

‘Cause pain, shame, and agony was all he had to give.

When someone finally came to him, he was already dead.

‘Cause poor ol’ little Johnny put a bullet in his head.

Words of abuse can lead people to sad ending.
"So many people ridiculed and mocked him while he lived,

‘Cause poor ol’ little Johnny put a bullet in his head. "
Many reasons for suicide. Abuse shouldn't be one. A powerful poem. Left something for the reader to think about.
