Love Story?

Love Story?

A Poem by Tara Ghorm

Nighttime silence is pierced
By the call of the lonely wolf
He mumbles to a fro
Leaving misery where he goes
He creeps along misfortune
And drinks from human greed
It shudders in him gravely
Yet he bears his pains bravely
This wolf so lone and lost
Comes visits me in dreams
He finds me in the moonlight
And startles me with fright
Never meant me harm
And neither e’er did I
But lovers’ breaking heart
We’ll never be apart
When he is far from me
He howls out at the moon
And I’ll answer his mourning call
And greet him misery and all
Out in the grassy field
And on that man-made hill
The weeds there tell our tale
And resound it without fail
No one though can hear it
It’s a secret sound of love
In the hearts of wolf and female
Though, I won’t go into detail

@Revolutionary:: Actually, that part isn't figurative. Probably one of the only parts of this poem that isn't. There is a factory behind my house and they moved alot of dirt and made this huge mountain of a hill and left it that way. Eventually, the dust and dirt packed together and things started growing from it.
We met up there to discuss what had happened.
