Kiss me Thrice

Kiss me Thrice

A Poem by Tara Ghorm
"

Kiss me once, shame on you, Kiss me twice, shame on me, Kiss me thrice, and it's all over

"

Kiss me once, shame on you

Kiss me twice, shame on me

Kiss me thrice, and it's all over

That kiss, the first of three

Comforted and cradled me

It helped me to see

That with you, I feel free

The second kiss, the one adored

Came quickly, swiftly like a sword

And it indeed was my reward

For making sure you're not ignored

The final kiss, the one that killed

Poured love in my heart until it filled

My broken spirit it helped rebuild

And left me breathless, hopeless, thrilled

You walked away, left me alone

You stole my breath like it's yours to own

For a moment I thought ((and I must atone))

That I loved you; but love is just a broken bone

I loved the rhyme scheme, and the choice of words. It was a very touching poem, and painted a beautiful image! =] Good job! I really enjoyed this one!
