This is your storyA Poem by Tara GhormThis is your story, not theirs. You stop, look at me. What are you thinking?
Are your thoughts clear, concise? Do they tumble and mingle? Are they organized nice?
Do you think about me? And what I think about you? And how long we'll stay "we"?
Or, perhaps, you're upset With the choice that you made And the torment you'll get.
What are you thinking? Are you mad at yourself? Look at me without blinking.
Stop thinking and know. I trust you, dear. And it's time to let go.
Stop all your worry End all your fears I'm not in a hurry.
I'll wait in the rain For you To release all this pain
The torment you hold Is not yours to own. Let your story unfold © 2009 Tara GhormAuthor's Note
