Just Too Soon

A poem written for the 30 days of poetry thing in Creative Writing class. I really like this one. It was an odd way to write, but I really feel like I was able to express everything I needed to.

Silent waiting, concentrating
Concentrating, on you fading
Fading fading, silent waiting
Waiting for, waiting for, Doom
Doom, gloom, mocking moon
Moon fading, fading soon
Soon, darkness, contemplating
Contemplating, concentrating
Concentrating, doom doom doom
Doom, doom, come too soon
Too soon for you to leave
To leave me, to kill me
Kill me again and again
Again, mocking moon, too soon
Too soon, mocking moon, again
