Ode to Being Crazy By Way of Overzealous ImaginationA Poem by jphillipsAfter reading the first few pages of Byron's Don Juan, my mind raced off to my own dilemmas and I am reminded that we are all crazy in one way or another.I know I had decided to follow the wisdom bestowed to me from all the earth--to let nature follow in its course and develop our relationship come as it may, but you have no idea how far my imagination bends nor all the paths my mind have traveled nor to what extravagant ends. I have been in my mind to your death and my own, I have seen myself distraught with grief unable to think or move. I know I am not justified in these thoughts but reason is not always under my control--my imagination bends so many ways. And so I am a crazy--as we all must be; hopefully you have not now a lesser opinion of me. © 2010 jphillipsAuthor's Note
