I'm Sorry My Love

I'm Sorry My Love

A Poem by Sarah Katherine

look but don't touch

smell but don't taste

can you see me now?

see what a waste

you've made my life

all of your lies

I look at you close

sink deep in your eyes

think of the future

think of the past

all of our dreams

we thought they'd all last

but look at me now

look what you've done

pull the trigger

and away you run

you start to cry

and fall to your knees

regret what you did

say help God, oh please

think of it all

of all you've just seen

you open your eyes

see it was a dream

say im sorry my love

for the things that I've done

you stare out the window

'till the rise of the sun

alone there you sit

alone there you cry

think of the day

the day that i died

what was so wrong?

what was so bad?

to ruin your life

and make you so sad

they found the gun

next to me in the mud

mud made of dirt

and dark red blood

I killed myself

and you died that day

so what more do you want?

what more could i say?

so be with me now

be with me here

please stop now my love

your done your tears
