PainA Poem by Sarah KatherineI wrote this poem in the winter when i was 12 or 13The winter chills me to the core my eyes so wet my heart so sore as the saddness fills the earth happiness will never birth joyfulness is never fed it seems like it will never spread as the leaves fall to the ground our hearts will cease to thump and pound the snow is black the pain is back as your childhood rears up near it seemed like it was so sincere like happiness would never fray now light and day have gone away as i hide here all alone winter chills me to the bone the snow is black the pain is back mom and dad are way to far my heart will always be a scar my pain, my hurt, my sad, my fear all tell me to dissapear the pain, the strain, the agony the darkness of the deaden tree the snow is black the pain is back just throw me into the falls as the darkness calls and calls
