Let You Go

Let You Go

A Poem by Sarah Katherine

Song lyrics

"
It's better if I don't call.
It's better if I don't miss you at all.
All the years that we were one,
we were just lost under the sun.
Now winter's come at last.
The summer's in our past.

And baby, I wish I didn't miss you
and baby, I wish I'd let you go.
My dear, I really shouldn't miss you,
but here I go.

Did you know you changed me?
Did you know you took that love from me?
Love that never dies,
was shriveled by your lies.
And now you want me back,
well know that I just can't.

And baby, I wish I didn't miss you
and baby, I wish I'd let you go.
My dear, I really shouldn't miss you,
but here I go.

I needed you. You lied to me.
For so long let me believe
That I was your only one,
when I was just another one.

I'm better off without you.
With you I always lose.
I'd rather be alone.
I'll win some on my own.
When all is said and done,
I'll be the one who won.
