Always You

Always You

A Poem by Sarah Katherine
"

A poem for my dearest friend and cousin - Hannah

"

As the leaves fall

And seasons change

Always, I have you

As the years go by

And things get hard

Always, I have you

When snow comes down

And the world gets cold

Always, I have you

When things are great

And wonderful

Always, I have you

If the flowers bloom

When spring comes ‘round

Always, I have you

If I am lost,

If you are far

Always, I have you

When the sun’s back out

And the world gets hot

Always, I have you

When we’re at the end

And the rest are gone

Always, I have you

This is a very beautiful poem. Very simple but very sincere and beautiful. There is the theme of love and friendship, not just friendship but dependable kind of friendship. The person know that she can always bank on her friend regardless of what is going on as depicted in this stanza:"When snow comes down/And the world gets cold/Always, I have you".

The poem has a tone of hope, hoping for the best. I like it, so refreshing. keep it up Sarah
