Paradise

Paradise

A Poem by jjill
"

Is age just a number in love? Or does it hold secrets only to be revealed and stolen by time?

"

You have come into my life,
glowing a spark of the past.
Smoldering hope that youth brings.
How long can we make it last?

What do these lucid eyes reflect in your soul?
What touches your heart enough to make me feel whole?
What do you see that others overlook?
Giving me back a heart that others took?

Travesty or Treachery –
A part of me with you is free.

Parasite or Paradise –
constantly consuming me.

And why does my soul stir at the touch of your hand or the flash of your eye?
Are you another test of How fragile am I?
Is your presence a light from above
to tell me how much I can be loved?

Travesty or Treachery –
A part of me with you is free.

Parasite or Paradise –

Travesty or Treachery –

A part of me with you is free.

Parasite or Paradise –
constantly consuming me.

About
i am now what we all are, have been or will be. there is a bit of enigma that surrounds us all. it is only revealed to us a little at a time, and at that point, we clearly feel the sum of the parts .. more..
